Helping international students find quality English courses

A commission-free directory connecting students with quality English language schools across the UK.

Why we created UK Study English

The UK attracts hundreds of thousands of international students each year, yet finding the right English course shouldn’t involve hidden fees and biased recommendations. We believe students deserve transparent access to quality schools without inflated prices from commission structures.

By removing agent commissions entirely, we’ve created a marketplace where schools compete on merit and students can trust their options are based on genuine fit, not referral fees. It’s a simple shift that makes international education fairer for everyone.

For years, students around the world asked us: “Can you help me find a course?” We’re not a school—we provide student housing through London Homestays and UK Student Residences—but we were spending hours explaining course types, flagging reputable providers, and helping students navigate UK options.

We realised two things:

Students needed clear, impartial help

Comparing quality, understanding fair pricing, and avoiding commission-driven pressure wasn't easy.

Schools needed a fairer route to students

Traditional agent models can involve 15–25% commission, which can raise prices or reduce support.

Who we are

UK Study English is part of Home from Home Student Services Ltd (founded 2007). We launched as London Study English in 2012; in 2024 we began expanding nationwide across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Since 2007, we’ve handled thousands of student enquiries from Japan, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, France, Turkey, China, Spain, Italy and South Korea—helping international students understand their UK study options.

UK Study English

A commission-free directory of English language schools

Why we're different: no commission, ever

The usual route involves agents taking 15–25% commission on each enrolment—costs that can raise course fees or reduce the support schools can offer. Commission-based models can also create incentives unrelated to finding the best fit for your needs.

Our approach is simpler:

No commission per-booking

Schools pay a transparent subscription to list and receive enquiries.

Direct contact

Your enquiry goes straight to the school; you book under the school's standard terms.

Fairness for all sizes

No hidden referral fees; a level playing field.

Why this matters:

For students

Clearer comparisons, fairer pricing, direct relationships

For schools

No punitive fees, direct access to genuine enquiries

For everyone

Transparency over incentives
